And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

(Hebrews 10:24–25)
We gather weekly to celebrate Jesus together, every Sunday at 10:30 am at 1021 4th Avenue, Huntington WV. Gathering together functions to serve one another (including guests and visitors), learn from from the bible, and respond to God and worship through singing, communion, and prayer.
Our gathering lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes, roughly from 10:30-11:45am. You're welcome to come early, grab a cup of coffee, meet people, get connected, and prepare your heart for worship. We have no dress code–most attenders dress "business casual," but it's common to see everything from shorts and a t shirt to suits and ties. Our unity is found in the gospel, not our style, dress, or age.
Our gathering typically consists of three songs, where we worship God and proclaim his truths through song. Next is a time of prayer, where we lift up to God our service, hearts, our mission, and our city, nation, and/or world. Then, we hear a message, where we teach through entire books of the bible through expository preaching. Lastly, we pass communion, where believers symbolically remember the death of Christ through eating bread (symbolizing the body of Christ, given for us), and wine/juice (symbolizing the blood of Christ, shed for us).
We would love for you to join us for worship! If you have any other questions about our weekly service, please reach out at info@redemptionwv.com!
