Partying with Sinners

Many Christians slowly drift into a comfortable bubble. Surrounded by Christian friends, Christian activities, and Christian culture. Meanwhile the world around them goes untouched. But when we open the Gospels, we find Jesus at tables with tax collectors and sinners. How do we pursue holiness without isolation? How do we stay distinct from the world without withdrawing from it? Jesus shows us a better way. Not compromised, but intentionally present. If we’re going to make Christ known, we must be close enough to be light.
