The Apostle Paul wrote to the men of the church at Corinth: “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13). But right after Paul tells them to act like men, he writes, “Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14). Our culture has all kinds of voices telling us what it means to act like a man. At Redemption Church, we believe God has called us to be men who are tough and tender. Through fellowship with one another, studying with one another, and worship with one another, we believe that Jesus is calling us to lead well, learn well, and most importantly, love well. In our marriages, our parenting, and our work, we will act like men, letting all that we do be done in love.
We're at the earliest stages of trying to establish a Men's Ministry here at Redemption and we would love it if you were involved in this endeavor in any way. We already have some events, studies, etc on the schedule and more in the works. So please get in touch with us if you have any interest in participating and/or leading.
